POINT-in-TIME

The Point-in-Time (PIT) Count is a count of sheltered and unsheltered people experiencing homelessness on a single night in January. In 2025, it is scheduled for January 22, 2025. HUD requires that CoCs conduct an annual count of people experiencing homelessness who are sheltered in emergency shelters, transitional housing, and Safe Havens on a single night.

For more information on PIT, see:  https://endhomelessness.org/resource/what-is-a-point-in-time-count/
