POINT-in-TIME
The Point-in-Time (PIT) Count is a count of sheltered and unsheltered people experiencing homelessness on a single night in January. In 2025, it is scheduled for January 22, 2025. HUD requires that CoCs conduct an annual count of people experiencing homelessness who are sheltered in emergency shelters, transitional housing, and Safe Havens on a single night.

THE NEXT POINT-IN-TIME will be Wednesday, January 22, 2025, from 9 p.m. to 3:00 a.m.
PIT 2025 ATTENDANCE AND REGISTRATION INFORMATION
Any agency that receives funding from the HUD/COC or ESG must participate in the planning and implementation of Point-in-Time. Still, we encourage all agencies to participate in this vital activity regardless of funding source. Community members are also encouraged to attend. Longest Day Service of Remembrance and Hope
The longest night of this year is Dec 21, 2024. Join us for a Service of Remembrance and Hope at St. Luke's Episcopal Church, 614 Main Street (Corner of 7th & Main).
The service will start at approximately 4 p.m., and at 4:20, when the sun sets, we will commemorate those who have passed on.

Mandatory Grantee Racine CoC Funding Opportunities
Sept 11 | Mandatory Grantee meeting hybrid [9-11 am] meeting for FY24 CoC Competition projects - new and renewal applicants. The meeting will review new geo codes within our county, voluntary reduction amounts, requirements for new projects, how to include health services through MOUs, and a brief discussion of leveraging other housing funding resources, rating, ranking, and prioritization process for establishing the final funding decision.
